Advanced Fertility Services

Micromanipulation
Oocyte collection

Using transvaginal, ultrasound-guided aspiration for mares that have fertility problems involving ovulation, abnormal follicles, conception, persistent uterine infections, cervical trauma, compromised oviducts (fallopian tubes) or mares that otherwise have not succeeded in other breeding or embryo transfer programs or mares that need to be serviced by stallions with limited sperm reserves

For deceased or ovarectomized mares to obtain pregnancies by oocyte transfer or sperm injection

Oocyte transfer (OT) to establish pregnancies through transfer of donor mare oocytes into recipient/surrogate mares inseminated by fresh, cooled or frozen semen of choice stallions

Sperm injection of oocytes (ICSI) to establish pregnancies by facilitating fertilization for the following reasons: 1) to achieve pregnancies for mares who failed with other assisted reproduction procedures, 2) to maximize sperm from deceased stallions or those with subfertility or limited semen availability, since only one sperm cell is used, and 3) to produce embryos for storage

Multiple Oocytes from deceased mare
Embryo preservation by cryopreservation (freezing and vitrification) and storage of early and later stage embryos after ICSI or routine recoveryearly and later stage embryo after ICSI or routine recovery by cryopreservation (freezing and vitrification) and storage

Epidydimal sperm harvesting of stallions to obtain post-mortem or post-castrated pregnancies by recovering epidydimal sperm for cryopreservation (freezing) and sperm injection
